
ABOUT ME
My husband George and I, along with our two cats, moved to Jacksonville Beach in 2010 and fell in love with this community. Its fabulous beach, the intracoastal waterway, small businesses, and friendly neighborhoods should make everyone who is fortunate to live here proud.
Since moving here, I have been active in this community, volunteering with nonprofits, and sitting on nonprofit boards, a city commission, a task force, and a council. I am often asked how I find the time to be involved in so many organizations, but we

I have a Bachelors degree in Communication, a Masters degree in Public Administration, and a Ph.D. in Political Science with a research focus on public and nonprofit management. I am an Associate Professor at the University of North Florida, where I teach in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. I mainly teach graduate courses in the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program, helping to shape our future public and nonprofit leaders.
My education, experience, and passion make me well suited to represent the interests of all those who live in District 2 on Jacksonville Beach City Council. I would be honored to have your vote.
